who is 雲TheGhostofkyoto?
My name is 雲Cloud, yup. Like a cloud in the sky. Photos and memories are all I have left of some people I’ve lost, and I wish I had taken more. That’s why I put so much of myself into every image I capture. I see the photos as time machines. Every image can take you back to the moment of capture. And you can relive the memories you hold dear to you. As far as my brand name, "TheGhostofKyoto" well, it fits who I am. I don’t crave the spotlight. I work in the shadows, chasing light and capturing it for others. Ever since a child, my younger brother and I were heavily inspired by Japanese culture. Unfortunately, my brother took his own life. My brother and I shared a passion of collecting masks. When he passed, he left me his akatsuki leaf ninja headband and told me to take care of his mask collection he owned. Everyday, I wear his headband to honor him. When he was alive, he wanted to buy me Kakashi’s anbu mask (the cat mask) but he never got the chance to so I bought it and wear it to honor him and in memory of him. Not only that, but growing up I was often bullied and picked on for being who I was. I was like Naruto, an outcast to society. So my brand, what I do, is my way of proving to myself, that I can be the person I've always wanted to be. Last but not least, accepting Jesus as my lord and savior is priority one in my life. Following him has literally saved my life, and has transformed me from the inside out. If you don’t know him, I encourage you to get to know him. If he helped me, believe that he can also help you. I'm no better than you. I’ve always had a passion for storytelling, and also for photography. It's been a little over 12 years I think since I started. I also studied graphic design, and spent 5 years in sales helping businesses and people with their needs. All of that taught me to see people, tell stories, and create experiences that connect. And that led me to what I do now. And yeah, I love what I do. Lol, my adhd brain won't let me do something I hate anyways. So yeah, if you read all of that. well, that’s my story. Thank you.-Cloud
