My name is 雲Cloud, like a cloud in the sky. Photos and memories are all I have left of some of the people I’ve lost and I wish I had taken more. That regret still lingers with me, and it’s why I pour so much of myself into every image I capture. Because sometimes, photos are all we have left.

I’m also a romantic at heart. Photographing couples, weddings, and love stories makes me genuinely happy. It’s like I get to live a piece of the dream myself while watching others fall in love.

The name TheGhostofkyoto reflects who I am: someone who doesn’t crave the spotlight, but someone who works in the shadows, chasing light and capturing it for others. And Japanese culture has inspired me deeply since childhood. so it felt natural to weave it into my work and my identity.
